A highlight of the college experience is building relationships with and learning from fellow students. The roommate matching process hopes to partner students with similar living preferences while understanding how to navigate differences is a key part of learning to live in community.
Roommate matching is guided by the preferences you mark on your Housing Registration. We will seek to match you with someone who has marked similar characteristics.
If you want to room with a friend rather than be matched with someone new, you will be able to make that request during the registration process. Be sure to choose similar room preference options in your registration. While we can’t guarantee roommate requests, we’ll do our best to assign you together if the request is mutual.
